Where are the Doctors located?
All of our doctors are UK-based and fully registered with GMC. They are experienced and NHS-trained in delivering safe, high-quality care via telehealth video consultations.
Is the consultation by video call?
Yes. After payment confirmation you will receive a link to access our virtual consult, where the doctor will start the video consultation.
Do I need to install any software?
No downloads or installations are needed. Hola Health is 100% online, just use your mobile, tablet, or computer browser to access our secure platform. You will only have to authorise the use of the camera and microphone when you join the video consultation.
How should I pay for my consultation?
Payments are made securely online using a debit or credit card. Our pricing is transparent with no hidden fees.
Who shouldn't use our service?
Hola Health is not suitable for medical emergencies or life-threatening conditions. If you’re experiencing chest pain, severe bleeding, difficulty breathing, or symptoms that require immediate attention, please call 999 or visit your nearest A&E.
Please note that age below 12 months should not use this service and from one to seventeen, the video consultation with a doctor will require a responsible adult with the patient.
How confidential and secure is the service?

Can Hola online Doctors issue sick notes?
Yes, our registered doctors can issue valid sick notes, also known as fit notes, that meet the requirements for work, school, or university leave. During your consultation, the doctor will assess your symptoms and determine if a sick note is appropriate. If approved, the fit note will be created and sent to you digitally via email.
How do I get my referrals?
If the doctor feels you would benefit from seeing a specialist, they can issue a referral letter for you. This is based on the information you provided during your consultation, along with the doctor’s medical judgment. The specialist referral is then securely emailed to you. You can use this letter to book appointments with private healthcare providers or share it with your NHS GP or practice, depending on your chosen care pathway.
Hola Doctors also provide referrals for radiology via video consultation, if appropriate.
