Hola Health is the UK’s new online healthcare platform that connects you with registered doctors for medical advice, sick notes, and referrals everyday between 8 am to 6 pm. Designed to make healthcare faster, more accessible, and easier to manage, Hola lets you consult a doctor from the comfort of your home.
Using Hola is simple. Just choose the type of consultation you need (such as a sick note), answer a few health questions, and you’ll be connected with a qualified doctor online. If clinically appropriate, your doctor will provide the necessary medical letters or advice, available every day.

All Hola doctors are fully qualified and based in the UK. They bring years of clinical experience and follow the same professional standards as in-person GPs. You’ll receive expert care every time.

Hola is ideal for many common health issues, like minor infections, general health concerns, sick notes, and medication requests. However, it’s not suitable for emergencies or conditions that need a physical examination or immediate in-person attention. If you’re unsure, we’ll help guide you to the right care.

All consultations are safe and secure and are performed by health professionals registered in the UK.

Payment is made via credit card via a secure payment gateway. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

About online Doctor consults

All consults are conducted from the convenience of your mobile phone or desktop computer using either Safari or Chrome browsers.

You’ll need a working mobile phone or desktop computer with a stable internet connection and a front-facing camera.

If the doctor does not join the consultation for any reason, please contact the Support team and we will issue you a new link.

About medical letters - Sick notes & referrals

Absolutely. If you’re unwell and need time off from work or studies, our GPs or health professionals can assess your condition and issue a valid fit note (sick note). It will be sent securely to your email and can be shared with your employer or educational institution.

Yes. Hola doctors or medical professionals can write a referral letter to a specialist if your condition requires further evaluation or treatment. These medical letters are recognised by private healthcare providers and include all the necessary details for your next step in care.

All medical letter requests are reviewed by fully licensed UK-based doctors and healthcare professionals. During your consultation, they will assess your symptoms and decide whether it’s clinically appropriate to issue a sick note, or referral

No, it’s not guaranteed. Our doctors and medical professionals follow clinical guidelines and will only issue medical documents if they determine it is safe and appropriate based on your condition and consultation. If a document isn’t issued, you will still receive professional advice and care options tailored to your needs.
